Whether you are looking for a few hours a week or a few days, we can help. We have various hours available during the mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants are expected to commit to work every other weekend.

Working in home care is an extremely rewarding career where you will make a difference in people's lives and provide support to those who need it most. Tasks may include helping clients with washing and dressing, assisting with medication, or accompanying them to appointments. You will play a critical role in enabling vulnerable people to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

We can provide full training for those new to care. Our training programme is completed via online-based learning. Upon completion, you will be awarded a credited Level 2 Certificate in Health & Social Care.

Home Care Worker Duties:

As a care worker, you will provide care and support to our clients within their own homes. Support may include:

• Personal Care: Assistance with washing, toileting, and dressing
• Domestic Support: Light housework, including cleaning and laundry
• Meal Preparation: Preparing light meals or serving pre-prepared meals
• Medication Support: Assistance with daily medication, catheter care, PEG feeding, and more
• Companionship: Visiting clients for a chat, playing games, arts and crafts, etc.
• Outings: Running errands, shopping trips, social visits, and community activities
• Social Care: Maintaining links with family and friends, paying bills, collecting prescriptions, etc.
• Emergency Assistance: Providing emergency support when needed
• Promoting Independence: Supporting clients to maintain independence and reduce loneliness

A driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential due to client locations.
