Job summary

Leicestershire County Council's Hinckley Short Breaks & Supported Living Services are seeking two part-time Contracts Support Workers (21 hours and 20 hours per week) to join our team at The Trees, Hinckley. The roles involve day-to-day care, personal support, promoting independence and choice, and working flexibly across a 7:00–22:00 rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality care and support which maximises independence.
• Ability to use available equipment to assist with moving and handling service users.
• Effective communication skills, including engaging with service users who may use alternative communication methods.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 service rota including weekends and bank holidays.
