Job Description
Companionship Services:
  • Offer companionship and conversation.
  • Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (e.g., clothing selection, hobbies, crafts).
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events (e.g., visiting friends or family, lunch, club meetings).
Home Help Services:
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, caring for houseplants).
  • Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and assist with shopping.
  • Knowledge of good food safety practices and ability to cook a variety of meals from raw ingredients.
  • Assist with pet care.
Personal Care:
  • Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with continence care.
  • Understand the needs of individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's.
  • Assist with morning and evening routines.

Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner is essential. Respect for people of different backgrounds and beliefs, commitment to non-discriminatory care, excellent timekeeping, organization, reliability, good hygiene, and a smart appearance are required. This role requires obtaining an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body and having reliable transport or Class 1 business insurance if using your own vehicle.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Resident in the UK.
  • All Right to Work documents available.
  • No sponsorship available.
  • Care experience preferred but not required.
