Job summary

Lord Hardy Court Residential Home in Rotherham is hiring four permanent part-time care assistant posts. You will provide direct care for residents, including those with dementia or mental health needs, and support step-up step-down with the NHS.

Hours range from 15 to 30 per week on a rota including weekends and bank holidays, with up to 37 hours to cover leave or sickness. An enhanced DBS check is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents, including those with dementia and mental health needs.
• Deliver step-up step-down care jointly with the NHS in the community.
• Contribute to a comfortable, stimulating, homely environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Contribute to a customer-focused service that is responsive to residents' needs.
• Work shifts on a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
• Cover colleagues' leave and sickness up to 37 hours.
