A well-known conservation organization in Glastonbury seeks a Car Park Attendant for a part-time, fixed-term position. This role involves controlling traffic and directing visitors to available car parking spaces during busy periods. Successful candidates should be friendly, problem-solving, and enthusiastic about customer care. The position includes weekend work and requires personal transport due to site location. Salary ranges from £12.60 to £13.45 per hour, with benefits including a pension scheme and annual leave.

RSPB Ham Wall is one of the busiest RSPB reserve in the winter due to the spectacular starling murmurations of the Avalon Marshes. We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team to help control traffic and direct new arrivals to available car parking spaces, which makes a huge difference to our visitor experience.
During the starling season, on weekends, and over the Christmas period, car parking spaces are at a premium, so you will be working with a team to ensure that all car parking space available is utilised.
The successful applicant must be able to work in a busy environment dealing with very high visitor numbers in a short period of time.
This is a part time fixed-term role for 5 hours per week between November and February. The post requires weekend working and working over the Christmas period (not including 24 - 26 December).
Due to the remote nature of the site own transport is required.
