Job summary

Abingdon and Witney College invites applications for a part-time Cleaner based in Witney. This permanent role requires 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:45pm–5:45pm, with pro rata salary of £9,833 per annum.

You will join the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out cleaning across classrooms, offices and facilities, maintaining high standards, using COSHH safely, and supporting the department as required. Excellent pension and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, corridors, communal spaces, kitchens and toilets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the College site.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with College procedures.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored correctly in line with COSHH regulations.
• Report any damaged equipment or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Work flexibly to support the needs of the department and cover operational requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with staff, students and visitors.
