Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres are recruiting a Buying Assistant to join our Head Office in Ferndown on a part-time, permanent basis (25 hours per week). Salary from £27,810 per annum – pro-rata'd.

Previous buying office experience is preferred, with strong IT and data skills to support the buying team. You will work closely with Buyers and internal teams, liaising with suppliers, processing orders and ensuring stock is available on time for planned usage.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and organisation are essential.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy are required.
• Experience in buying/purchasing and liaising with suppliers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Buying team and assist Buyers and internal teams.
• Liaise with suppliers and process orders.
• Ensure stock is available and delivered on time for planned usage.
• Input purchasing data into the company product data system and analyse data.
