TPF Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Ramsgate. They are currently seeking a skilled Part-Time Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator to join their friendly and professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and payroll who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients
  2. Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  3. Managing end-to-end payroll processes
  4. Ensuring compliance with current legislation and deadlines
  5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships
  6. Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required within the accounts team
Requirements
About You:
  1. Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping/payroll role, ideally within a practice environment
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
  3. Good understanding of VAT and payroll regulations
  4. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  5. A team player with great communication and client-facing skills
