Hales Group Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. The role offers 2-3 days per week with flexible hours and an hourly rate of £25-£30.

You will manage invoices, payments, VAT, and monthly reports using QuickBooks Online, working independently to maintain precise financial records. Ideal candidates have proven bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks online
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions and online orders
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Manage VAT returns and assist with payroll if required
• Liaise with accountants and external stakeholders
• Support general finance administrative tasks
