We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist our Cambridge based client on a part time basis. You will be self-motivated, with a high degree of accuracy, numeracy & communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • General day to day bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliation, ensuring accurate tracking of payments and receipts, filing of invoices, chasing payments and resolving queries as they arise
  • Assist with month end and year end tasks as required
  • Support the director with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (VT transaction useful) and Microsoft Office
  • A strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is advantageous but not essential
  • Availability to work on site up to 8 hours a week with full flexibility as to when these hours are worked
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as and when required to meet month end and year end deadlines
