We are very pleased to be working alongside our very established and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time permanent basis. Part Time Bookkeeper

Part Time permanent role

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Apply online only)

Haywards Heath / East Grinstead area. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to rural workplace location (half way between Haywards Heath and East Grinstead) you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport.

Salary: GBP15.60 per hour which works out as approx GBP9734 per year based on 12 hours per week, plus good company benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The role would be working with the accounting package Xero.
  2. Posting sales invoices and allocating payments.
  3. Producing a debtors report, referring for reasons unpaid and debt chasing.
  4. Bank reconciliation.
  5. Managing and paying suppliers.
  6. Weekly takings report.
  7. Balancing and monitoring till, petty cash and fuel box.
  8. Reconciling credit card invoices and recharges.
  9. Collating information for staff payroll.
  10. Maintaining spreadsheets and cash flow.
  11. Producing invoices and recharging across other companies.

Competencies, Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate would have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and have previous experience gained within a Bookkeeping role.

Driver and own transport required due to office/workplace location.
