Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Board Governance Manager on a part-time basis. The role is Ashford, Kent with hybrid working (Mondays in office, rest remote) and a salary around 38,400 p.a. (FTE 48,000).

You will support the Board to maintain and strengthen governance, act as Company Secretary, and work with senior leaders to deliver the Governance Improvement Plan and assurance framework.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of corporate governance best practice, including Board effectiveness and governance frameworks.
• Experience as Company Secretary or in governance roles, coordinating Board and committee cycles.
• Ability to provide governance advice to Board and Executive Team and produce high-quality papers.
• Experience developing compliance frameworks, policies and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Board to maintain, improve and strengthen governance processes and ensure compliance.
• Act as Company Secretary and coordinate with the Executive Assistant Team to plan and deliver Board cycles.
• Oversee governance processes to support delivery of organisational objectives.
• Lead on Governance Improvement Plan (GIP) and embed a proportionate governance framework.
• Deliver governance and assurance reporting to the Board and Committees, monitor risks and actions.
