Job summary

Bristol City Council is seeking enthusiastic Bikeability Instructors to join Bristol Cycling Centre in Hengrove. This part-time role involves delivering Bikeability training to people of all ages and abilities, with weekend shifts and opportunities for overtime during school holidays.

Trainees may join at BG5 with training provided to become qualified (BG7). Based at Bristol Cycling Centre, you will deliver sessions, motivate learners, and help create a safe, inclusive cycling environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Bikeability Instructor preferred.
• Able to teach cycling to a wide range of ages and abilities.
• Excellent communication and people-skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Bikeability training (levels 1, 2 and 3).
• Help learners learn to ride and build cycle skills.
• Assist disabled riders with inclusive cycling.
• Provide games and coaching for groups of riders.
