Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a part-time Barista to craft beverages for Costa at a major High Street brand. You will work around 16 hours per week, deliver first‑class service, and create beautifully crafted coffees while maintaining a clean bar and accurate cash handling.

You will learn brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques, with opportunities for progression within a company that values its people and brand excellence.

Qualifications

• Be a brilliant communicator with strong customer service experience.
• Able to work under pressure and meet customer needs.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment and Costa products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality food.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Process payments (cash and cards).
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods and presentation techniques.
• Check equipment and report maintenance.
• Represent Costa and maintain brand image.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
