Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) is an inclusive, dedicated organisation committed to providing outstanding care to our personnel.

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and efficient Band 5 Practice Nurse to join our primary healthcare team at Leuchars Station, St. Andrews.

The position is part-time, offering 15 hours per week, with 5-hour shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday. The role involves working independently to undertake nursing assessments, provide care and treatment in collaboration with GPs and medical staff, and contribute to improving practice standards and patient experience.

Occasionally, you may be requested to work at Condor Medical Centre, with travel time and costs reimbursed.

The Practice Nurse will be responsible for supervising junior staff, liaising with outside agencies, and adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Responsibilities include prioritizing health issues, managing treatment plans, conducting healthcare governance activities, and maintaining infection control policies.
