Job Description
We're supporting a fantastic and leading firm of chartered accountants based in Ashford in their recruitment for a Part Time Audit and Accounts Senior. Our client boasts an incredible working environment with a very experienced and friendly team. They have seen excellent growth over the last 5 years and are now looking to recruit an additional Part Time Audit and Accounts Senior into their team on either 3 or 4 days a week.
You will be exposed to a wide range of businesses from large corporates through to not-for-profit organisations. You will have lots of responsibility but also be offered an excellent work-life balance.
This is a mixed audit and accounts role, with the split between audit and accounts flexible, ranging from 30% to 60% audit depending on the applicant's experience.
You will work with the wider team in a hands-on manner, leading in a methodical way to meet client needs and complete audits before review by managers and partners. You should be comfortable delegating tasks to the team and providing support and guidance, resolving technical questions as they arise.
Additional requirements include studying or being qualified in ACA/ACCA, experience in audit fieldwork or planning audits, client-facing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
