Sir James Smith’s School is seeking a Part Time Attendance Administrator to work 20 hours per week, from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year. The role supports the attendance process, maintains accurate records and reports on attendance to required bodies while meeting deadlines.
The postholder will work with the Attendance Officer to generate reports for the SLT, the DfE and other agencies, and assist with plans to optimise student attendance and attainment across the Trust.
Sir James Smith’s School are looking to appoint a Part Time Attendance Administrator to work 20 hours per week from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year. The postholder will support with all aspects of the attendance process in line with statutory requirements, maintaining accurate student attendance records and reporting on attendance, as required. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be experienced in working to deadlines.
The postholder will have a strong administration background, be confident using data and excel and be able to generate reports with the Attendance Officer for the Senior Leadership Team and the DfE and other agencies. They will assist with developing plans to ensure all students’ attendance meets expectations to optimise learning and attainment for all.
The successful candidate will be well supported by a range of colleagues and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure their individual needs are met.
