Job summary

Stockport School in Stockport invites applications for the post of Attendance Assistant Educational Outreach Officer. This permanent, full-time role is 37 hours per week during term time plus 2 days, with start in September 2026 or as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to the post of Attendance Assistant Educational Outreach Officer.

The successful candidate will join a high achieving and ambitious team in our very popular and over-subscribed school. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative candidate, ideally with a proven track record or future potential to consistently deliver high quality service provision and outcomes for students and families.

The Attendance Role:

The post involves supporting the Attendance Manager with the responsibility for the support, challenge and administration of effective Attendance systems to support educational engagement in school.

To raise the profile and importance of attendance within the school and community by working to develop procedures and initiatives aimed at raising and maintaining attendance.

To improve and maintain whole school attendance and address and reduce persistent non-attendance to a minimum of national levels.
