About GoingVC

GoingVC, founded in 2016, aims to provide individuals with a clear pathway into venture capital. It has grown into a vibrant organization focused on making venture capital education, investing, networks, and talent more accessible. Our flagship program runs twice a year, complemented by the GoingVC Angels, an active angel community, and we also support early-stage startups through GoingVC Partners.

Our 16-week flagship program helps members advance their venture capital careers or start their own funds, offering opportunities to deepen understanding, expand networks, and gain real-world experience.

In January 2024, GoingVC acquired VC Stack and Startup & VC platforms, expanding our reach to over 100,000 readers.

The Role

We are hiring a part-time, remote Associate Program Manager to support our European community and leadership team. Your main responsibilities will include managing the GoingVC Europe Program, engaging members, and fostering ecosystem connections.

Projects may involve organizing career events, building relationships within the VC ecosystem, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities Will Include:

• Managing the European flagship program, including communication and event coordination
• Handling administrative duties to ensure smooth program operation
• Supporting leadership with projects to improve the program
• Maintaining program materials and records
• Editing content and materials as needed
• Engaging with members and alumni via calls, Slack, or email
• Maintaining internal structures and resources
• Building and maintaining outreach lists
• Networking with VC investors and expanding relationships
• Researching and testing new ideas to enhance the program
• Supporting the GoingVC team to achieve project goals

Who We’re Looking For

This role is suitable for someone with 2-5 years of experience interested in the European VC and startup scene. Ideal candidates will:

• Be passionate about GoingVC's mission and the venture capital industry
• Be familiar with tools like Airtable, Typeform, Notion, Trello, Slack, and Google Drive
• Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
• Follow through on commitments
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be polite, responsive, and committed to 'Inbox Zero'
• Be comfortable working independently and remotely
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and initiative
• Be adaptable and proactive in handling unforeseen challenges
• Be based in Europe, preferably in a growing VC market, and available to work CET hours with occasional US timezone meetings
