Part-Time Art Teacher (Adults)


Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO8 9LJ
Hours: Wednesdays – Classes Weekly
Start Date: September
Rate: Circa £130 per day



We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and creative Part-Time Art Teacher to lead engaging art classes for adult learners in Waterlooville.



Whether you’re inspiring beginners or helping improvers refine their skills, you’ll be creating a warm, supportive environment where learners feel confident to explore, experiment, and grow artistically.



About the Role


  • Part-time role delivering structured art classes every Wednesday
  • Teach a variety of techniques and mediums
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work independently while contributing to the wider art programme
  • Help promote the classes to new and returning students


What We’re Looking For


  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in adult education or similar
  • Strong skills across art materials, methods, and techniques
  • Confident, friendly classroom presence with excellent communication
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging classes
  • Ability to provide meaningful feedback and inspire creative progress
  • Organised, reliable, and community-minded
