Job summary

Brooklands College in Weybridge is hiring an Art & Design Lecturer for 14.8 hours per week, delivering L1–L3 UAL diplomas in Art, Design and Media. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress and maintain records in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

The role requires an Art & Design degree, FE teaching experience or willingness to train, and strong IT skills. Closing date: 26 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Degree in Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration or Photography) and relevant qualifications.
• Experience teaching in further education is advantageous.
• Teaching qualifications or willingness to work towards them with our support.
• Recent graduates or career changers may be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and proficient IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their potential.
• Assess, review and record learner progress.
• Maintain course and learner records and embed employability skills in to the curriculum.
