Oakwood School in Walsall is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support learning across our specialist provision for pupils aged 3–15 with complex needs.

This fixed-term, part-time role offers 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks, with pay from £8.00 to £13.26 per hour and a fixed end date of 30 November 2028.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical teaching assistance to pupils aged 3–15 with complex educational needs.
• Support individual and group learning activities and adapt resources as needed.
• Assist with behaviour management and safeguarding in line with school policy.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor pupil progress and attend planning meetings.
