Job summary

Join Grundon Sand & Gravel, based in Kennetholme, as a part-time team member in the aggregates sector. Your role will involve crucial sampling and testing of materials against British Standards, ensuring compliance and quality.

You will also support excellent customer service, operate mobile plant equipment when necessary, and uphold health and safety standards. A UK driving licence is essential, and training will be provided for mobile plant operations.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word in an office environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, professional approach.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect representative material samples from quarry stockpiles.
• Carry out sample preparation and accurate recording of test results.
• Produce particle size analysis and grading certificates.
• Provide weighbridge cover delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, PPE, and SOPs.
