Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Part-time Care Assistant to support residents at Barons Park Nursing and Residential Home in Kirby Muxloe. The role offers flexible afternoon shifts across seven days and a friendly, supportive team environment with full training provided.

You will join a caring team focused on patient, respectful care for residents living with a range of needs. DBS is funded, with excellent holiday pay and a Refer a Friend scheme.

Qualifications

• Caring nature and a genuine desire to support residents.
• Full training provided; prior care experience not essential.
• Experience with dementia is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit for the day ahead.
• Support residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home, with mobility aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team and engage with other care professionals to promote health and well-being.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
