Job summary

Prime Life in Kirby Muxloe is hiring a Full-time Day Care Assistant for Barons Park Nursing and Residential Home. You will support residents with personal care, meals, mobility and social activities, contributing to a safe, dignified living environment. Full training is provided and DBS is funded.

Salary ranges from £12.96 to £13.32 per hour with Holiday Pay and a Refer a Friend scheme up to £250. If you are patient, understanding and respectful, and want to make a real difference for residents,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable, but full training is provided.
• Understanding of dementia is beneficial due to residents with dementia.
• Patience, understanding and respect for residents' abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Support residents with meals and hydration to maintain good nutrition.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide companionship and accompany residents to appointments or events.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
• Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
