Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking an After School Club Leader to join our school team in Dursley. The role offers a part-time contract (7.33 hours per week) from 3.15-4.30, Monday to Friday, with potential extra hours when wraparound bookings occur. You will create a safe, engaging environment for children after the school day.

You will plan activities, supervise up to 15 children per session, and partner with families to ensure children are collected safely. Commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary-aged children is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safeguarding and child welfare knowledge.
• Excellent communication with children and families.
• Plan and deliver a range of creative activities.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and provide snack time.
• Plan general activities during the session.
• Ensure children are safely collected by parents.
• Lead wraparound provision for up to 15 children per session.
