Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking a reliable and proactive part-time Administration/Accounts Assistant to join a supportive team within an engineering solutions company in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, hands-on environment where your contributions will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Administration:

  • Front-of-house duties, including greeting visitors and handling incoming calls
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers via phone and email
  • General office administration and support tasks

Accounts:

  • Managing the purchase ledger
  • Processing supplier invoices and payments using Sage 50 Cloud
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

About You

  • Experience in a similar admin/accounts role, ideally within an engineering or technical environment
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Cloud or similar accounting software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting

In return, our client offers a supportive and friendly working environment, flexible working hours, and opportunities to develop and grow within the role. Working hours will be Tuesday 1pm-5pm, Thursday 9am-3pm, Friday 9am-1pm.
