Job summary

RG Consultancy are delighted to support a well-established manufacturer in Leyland who are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis.

The role reports to the Financial Controller and focuses on the sales ledger, invoicing, credit control and reconciliations. You will work in a small, friendly team with flexible hours around school times.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a small ledger in a team environment.
• Experience with sales ledger, invoicing and credit control is desirable.
• Good communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue sales invoices and credit notes.
• Liaise with customers to resolve invoice queries.
• Bank reconciliations and sales ledger reconciliations.
• Credit control – chasing overdue payments by phone and email.
• Allocate payments and set up new customer accounts.
