Job Advert in Dunmow, Essex is recruiting a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis, offering £15.00 per hour. The role is two full days (Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am-5pm) or equivalent across Tue/Wed/Thu, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential due to the location.

Your key duties include processing purchase ledgers, maintaining financial records, reconciliations, updating Excel spreadsheets and assisting with financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accounting role with knowledge of reconciliations and deadlines.
• Experience using Sage 50 Accounts is essential.
• Competent with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger invoices and raise self-billing invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounts functions.
• Perform reconciliations.
• Update and reconcile Excel spreadsheets.
• Assist with general accounts administration and financial reporting.
• Respond to emails and phone enquiries professionally.
