Job summary

Think Accountancy & Finance are working with an established business in Hemel Hempstead to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role offers 20 hours per week with flexibility across Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, processing expenses, posting journals and supporting month-end processes. On-site parking and study support are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Ability to handle transactional finance duties including month end.
• Good communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase ledger and process supplier invoices.
• Handle sales ledger and allocate customer payments.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
• Process expenses and company credit cards.
• Post journals and support month-end/year-end processes.
• Respond to supplier and customer queries promptly.
• Provide general support to the Finance team.
