Overview
Part-time Accounts Assistant / Accounts Manager / Finance Administrator - Flexible 25 hours per week, salary c. £28,000 pro-rata.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting accurate VAT returns
- Carrying out regular bank reconciliations
- Processing sales and purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts using Xero
- Checking supplier statements and investigating variances
- Managing debt recovery and credit control
- Overseeing stock reports and inventory management
- Using bespoke finance and admin software
- Preparing reports and financial summaries as needed
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial administration
- Proven ability with VAT returns and bank reconciliations (essential)
- Experience using Xero (essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing your own workload
