Part-time Accounts Assistant

Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week, flexible

Location: Sawston, Cambridge (office-based)

Salary: £26-£30k pro rata

We're hiring a part-time Accounts Assistant in our Sawston office, and we can be really flexible with your hours to work around your other commitments, such as school drop-off.

At PAXT, we grow international markets on behalf of some of the world's leading professional audio brands. We are looking for a friendly and highly organised Accounts Assistant to help with the finance function within our growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Processing supplier invoices, using "Dynamics 365 Business Central" (training provided)
• Allocating customers' money and monitoring customer accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Reconciling bank accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy
• Supporting monthly payroll processes
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Processing and analysing company credit card statements
• Preparing and posting journals
• Monitoring cash flow
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
