To support exciting growth plans, our client, a well-established organisation in Colchester, Essex, with UK and international clientele, is looking to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement at their offices in Colchester, Essex.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Part-Time Accounts Assistant will have a varied role including:

  1. Working on Sage Line 50 and Excel
  2. Setting up new supplier accounts and processing supplier invoices
  3. Raising invoices
  4. Account reconciliation
  5. Expenses and credit card statement reconciliations
  6. Assisting with VAT returns
  7. Assisting with month-end reporting
  8. Answering the telephone
  9. Data entry
  10. Supporting each other in a friendly team environment
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage Line 50, Excel, and Word. Key skills include attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, ability to meet deadlines, good communication skills (verbal and written), and being a team player.

What You'll Get
