They specialize in serving sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, offering comprehensive accounting solutions tailored to their needs.

Job Description:

They are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including the preparation of accounts for various entities, filing tax returns, and training junior team members.

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Complete Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development.

Preferred candidate qualities:

  • 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice desirable.
  • Knowledge of Xero and Digita suite preferred.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality service to clients.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Methodical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as AAT or part-qualified ACCA.

This role is commutable from: Uttoxeter, Stafford, Rugeley, Stoke on Trent, Stone.

The role would suit candidates with the following experience: Junior Accountant, Accountant, Semi Senior Accountant.

Hours: Part-time, permanent, 25 hours with flexible working around 10 am - 4 pm.

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year/pro-rata.
