Part-Time Accountant

Location: Shrewsbury

Type: Temporary (circa 6 months)

Schedule: 3 - 5 days per week (flexible)

Salary: Up to £60,000 - pro rata

We are working with a prestigious business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Part-Time Accountant on a temporary basis for around 6 months.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare management accounts and complete reporting pack (3 organisations)
2. Prepare management accounts for Fundraising charity with numerous separate funds
3. Raise and post journal entries and be responsible for prepayments & accruals
4. Prepare consolidated reporting package
5. Assist with the monthly actual to budget analysis and reporting packs (including investigating variances)
6. Maintenance of fixed spreadsheet
7. Completion of Government quarterly returns (i.e ONS)
8. Any other tasks deemed necessary

Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role. Ideally, you will be fully qualified but this isn't essential.
