Job summary

Rimaya in Somerset is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of client accounts within an established practice. The role offers flexible part-time hours with the daily work spread across Langport and Sherborne, and occasional travel between offices.

You will handle accounting and financial management tasks, VAT, payroll, and year-end support while delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• 3 years+ post-qualified experience in accountancy practice
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports
• Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
• Prepare and review VAT returns and support HMRC compliance requirements
• Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records
• Travel between Langport and Sherborne offices as needed

Skills
