Job summary

Bristol City Football Club in Bristol is seeking an experienced coach to deliver high-quality coaching and matchday experiences for Pre-Academy and Academy players at Ashton Gate. You will plan sessions, assess players, and work with a multi-disciplinary team while safeguarding and welfare remain central.

UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award are essential, with proven academy experience and a collaborative, growth-minded mindset.

Qualifications

• UEFA B Licence (or working towards)
• FA Youth Award
• Experience of developing players in an Academy environment
• Understanding of the requirements to play Professional football at all levels
• Be able to work as part of a team, but also lead on own initiative
• Have empathy, be supportive and encouraging to developing others
• Have an open / growth mind-set and be an honest, clear communicator

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver coaching sessions that follow the club philosophy and curriculum for your age group
• By match day, plan, observe and provide feedback on individual player performance
• Evaluate Academy players using The Kitman Labs Intelligence Platform and record outcomes
• Safeguard players' welfare at all times
• Contribute to talent identification where appropriate
• Undertake admin tasks including fixture programming and database input
• Assist in player/parent reviews in line with EPPP guidelines
• Ensure multi-disciplinary communication for player well-being and development
