An educational organization in Haywards Heath is seeking an Academy Administrator to support the Senior Leadership Team and provide administrative assistance at the front office. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills in a busy environment. This part-time position offers a pro-rata salary with potential for increased hours in the future. A warm and welcoming personality is essential for interacting with students and parents.
Working Pattern: Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours: 14 hours per week, 8.30am - 4pm Thursday & Friday or Monday & Tuesday
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £8,414 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
As Academy Administrator you will support the Senior Leadership Team with managing and monitoring attendance to achieve agreed annual targets and adhere to statutory and legal requirements. You will also provide administrative and organisational support within the Academy and, based in the Front Office, be a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors to the Academy.
This is a two day a week job share with an experienced member of staff who is reducing hours. There is scope within the next year for this role to increase in hours. There is another administrator working full time, so there will be lots of on the job training & support.
The school office is a busy environment at the heart of the school community, so if you\'re welcoming, good with people, organised and have a sense of humour, this could be the role for you.
