Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and hardworking team. This is a part-time role, working 1:1 with a child with additional learning needs, across the week during term time only.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years working with children/young people with SEN, preferably including experience with visual impairments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of child development and the national curriculum.
• Experience collaborating with professionals and agencies.
• Ability to build excellent relationships with parents, carers, and families.

About Royal High School

Part of the GDST (Girls Day School Trust), Royal High School is an independent day (3-18) and boarding (11-18) school for approximately 600 girls, located in Bath with scenic views and good access to major roads. The school comprises a Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, and upper Prep classes including Year 3, Year 4, and Year 6.
