This apprenticeship involves:

  • Achieving personal target KPIs and revenue objectives with target customer sets.
  • Accurately identifying parts to meet customer sales requirements.

  • Identifying and exploiting all upsell opportunities to grow sales.
  • Maintaining knowledge of new or updated parts through training and reading updates.
  • Understanding the Unique Selling Proposition of the TPS brand and how to overcome sales objections.
  • Recording and providing feedback on lost sales opportunities to the Sales Manager.

Customers

  • Providing high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Aiming to improve Customer Satisfaction scores.
  • Building strong relationships with clients through regular contact.
  • Responding to customer requests and providing expert advice.
  • Dealing efficiently with trade customers visiting the TPS Centre.
  • Recording customer delivery requirements and communicating with the team.
  • Resolving customer concerns professionally.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Reviewing customer discounts regularly and applying appropriate discounts.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records in compliance with data protection laws.
  • Communicating credit status to customers and handling disputes professionally.

  • Supporting the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and customer service.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets.
  • Feedback customer comments to improve experience.
  • Ensuring customers are aware of their credit situation and following guidelines for escalations.

Systems and Processes

  • Handling calls and enquiries within KPIs using the approved greeting.
  • Using all systems correctly, e.g., EKTA/vin-lookup for parts search and ordering.
  • Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Processing transactions in line with TPS Guidelines.
  • Keeping the working environment tidy and efficient.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards, legal, and ethical guidelines.
