Job summary

Axon Moore Group Ltd in Clitheroe is assisting a rapidly growing manufacturing business to recruit a Part-Qualified Management Accountant. This newly created role will strengthen the finance function and support growth across the Group.

You will prepare monthly management accounts for subsidiaries, perform variance analysis, and own balance sheet reconciliations while engaging with senior stakeholders. Hybrid working, full study support, and generous benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Excellent IT skills with a range of financial systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Proven experience in a management accountant role.
• Experience in a fast-changing business environment.
• Experience preparing management accounts for multiple sites/entities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for subsidiary companies within the Group, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflows.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
• Own full balance sheet reconciliations (incl. accruals, prepayments, fixed assets).
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Support annual budgeting and reforecasting.
• Assist with year-end accounts, tax information and audit work.
• Provide commercial support across the Group as required.
• Manage HMRC compliance (VAT, PAYE).
• Contribute to ERP system transformation project as required.

Part-Qualified Management Accountant £40,000 - £45,000 Clitheroe + Hybrid Full Study Support

Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Clitheroe who are looking to add a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to their team.

This is a newly created position which will provide additional support due to growth within the business and this role is to further strengthen the finance function in line with these growth plans. The role would be best suited to a part-qualified (ACCA or CIMA) management accountant with full study support provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts for subsidiary companies within the Group, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflows across a range of accounting packages
• Performing variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
• Ownership of full balance sheet reconciliations (incl. accruals, prepayments, fixed assets) ensuring timely reconciliation in line with month-end reporting deadlines
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Supporting with annual budgeting and any reforecasting
• Assisting with preparation of year-end accounts, tax information and audit work
• Provide commercial support across the Group as required
• Managing HMRC compliance (VAT, PAYE)
• Contribute to ERP system transformation project as required

What We're Looking For:

• Part Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent IT skills - experience with a range of financial systems
• Good Excel skills
• Proven experience in a management accountant role
• Experience in a fast changing business environment
• Experience preparing management accounts for multiple sites/entities advantageous
• Confident and strong communication skills/ability to build strong relationships
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and accuracy
