Part Qualified Financial Accountant - Hybrid Offering – Fife (Ref 6161 / 2522)

Wilkinson & Associates are partnering with a manufacturing company based in Dunfermline to help source a Part Qualified Financial Accountant. Our client offers a hybrid working model.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role exists to support the delivery & smooth operations of the overseas business units.

The role is well suited to recently part qualified accountants and those having trained in either practice or industry are invited to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail to succeed and grow in a market leading and dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support assigned budget holders through monthly meetings to discuss overheads
2. Support Financial Accountant matters relating to legal entities throughout the International Region, including statutory accounting, audit, and tax compliance
3. Support the control environment via the development of processes & procedures to enhance and improve controls
4. Handle VAT compliance for multiple entities, including Intrastat and EC Sales reporting
5. Oversee specific areas such as Fixed Assets, Concur, expenses, and Finance Lease Accounting
6. Engage in ad hoc project work

Skills / Experience Needed:

Essential:

• Part Qualified / Actively sitting exams – CIMA, ACCA, CA
• Good time management skills to ensure all reports are delivered in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to report accurately
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Advantageous:

• Previous experience of statutory accounts
• Knowledge of Corporate Tax
• Experience in a customer-focused environment
