Job summary

DWF is seeking a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, management accounting, controls, and process improvement, with a clear pathway toward a fully qualified Management Accountant role. We offer a flexible hybrid model with three days per week in our Manchester office and a supportive team environment.

You will support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations,

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in finance, management accounting or R2R environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and journals.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting packs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with audit, controls, and process improvement initiatives.
