Addington Ball Limited in Bedford is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join a forward-thinking, family-run practice that prioritises structured training and study support. The role offers exposure to a broad range of financial tasks and aims to develop ownership and client-facing skills within a supportive environment.

Based in central Bedford with excellent transport links, the firm seeks individuals who are pursuing ACA/ACCA or AAT Level 4, with prior practice experience, strong IT

Formación

• Part qualified & actively studying ACA or ACCA or AAT Level 4 qualified with previous accountancy practice experience
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and tax computations for a range of clients.
• Assist clients with ad hoc projects, providing support and guidance where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and client service delivery.
• Ensure chargeability, recovery and profitability targets are being met.
