Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant in Ballymena to support the finance team with responsibilities including monthly management accounts and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and is part qualified or an accounting technician. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing finance function.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Ability to work within a team, as well as on own initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts & annual statutory accounts.
  • Profit and loss analysis.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of KPI & weekly management reports.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, Intrastat.
  • EC sales list, statutory payments.
  • Weekly payroll processing.
  • Oversee Sales ledger - invoicing & credit control.
  • Oversee Bank and SIF reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts for both profit and loss and cashflow.
  • Carry out internal audits in accordance with schedule.
  • General administrative duties required for the smooth running of a finance function.

Overview

Part Qualified Accountant | Ballymena | Permanent

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a client base in Ballymena who are recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant to join their finance team.

This is new role due to growth and is permanent, and full-time office based.

The successful applicant will support the finance department and be responsible for the accurate and timely production of financial reports and analysis within the business.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts & annual statutory accounts
  • Profit and loss analysis
