An ambitious architecture practice based in Islington, London is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Part II Architectural Assistant to join their growing team. Specialising in high-specification data centre projects, this practice is known for delivering technically complex work at pace, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive studio culture. Located in Islington, the studio offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on project experience in a technical design environment.

This opportunity would suit a Part II Architectural Assistant with strong experience in technical design and a background in data centres, infrastructure, or industrial projects. You’ll be supporting senior staff across key design stages, developing your skills in Revit, BIM workflows, and construction detailing.

Package:

• £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

Office:

• Islington, London

• Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm (flexible start/end time available)

Duties:

• Supporting the architectural team across RIBA stages 2–4 on data centre projects

• Preparing technical drawings, design packages, and BIM models in Revit

• Assisting with design development, detailing, and specification

• Creating visuals and supporting presentation materials

• Attending internal reviews and technical coordination sessions

• Taking part in site visits, surveys, and compiling notes for senior staff

Requirements:

• Part II qualified with a background in data centres, infrastructure, or industrial design

• Strong experience using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

• Comfortable producing technical drawing packages and details

• A collaborative approach to working within a design team

• Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction processes
