Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant for their growing team in Billericay. The successful candidate will work with experienced Architects on projects across Education, Healthcare, Residential, Public Sector and Commercial sectors, with mentoring toward Part III.

The role involves developing concepts through detailed design, producing planning and Building Regulations packs using Revit and AutoCAD, and supporting project Architects across RIBA work stages.

Qualifications

• Masters in Architecture; strong Revit and AutoCAD drafting abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes desirable.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop projects from concept through to detailed design and produce planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support Project Architects across all RIBA Work Stages.
• Prepare technical drawing packages for tender and construction; liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Attend design and site meetings; carry out measured surveys; assist with contract administration.
• Produce technical specifications and coordinate information with internal multidisciplinary teams.

Part II Architectural Assistant Job Overview

Assist with the development of projects from concept through to detailed design. Produce planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD. Support Project Architects across all RIBA Work Stages. Prepare technical drawing packages for tender and construction. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers. Attend design meetings and site meetings. Carry out measured building surveys. Assist with contract administration and construction phase activities. Produce technical specifications where required. Coordinate information with internal multidisciplinary teams. Support the delivery of projects across Education, Healthcare, Residential, Public Sector and Commercial sectors. Assist with project coordination and day-to-day project running under supervision. Ensure high-quality technical documentation throughout project delivery.

Part II Architectural Assistant Job Requirements

• Masters in Architecture
• Good working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
