A London-based architectural practice is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or an Architectural Technologist to support a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, experience related to RIBA stages, and exhibit excellent communication and drafting skills. The role includes managing projects, preparing designs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Part 2 Architectural Assistant or an Architectural Technologist
We are an established London-based practice, with a growing portfolio of work across a diverse range of sectors, with a team of hands-on Partners, skilled Architects and Architectural Technologists.
We are seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant (some UK work experience desirable) or an Architectural Technologist. Applicants should ideally be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate excellent communication and drafting skills.The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines set by project leads is a key skill.
You will be supporting the team on projects across a variety of sectors including cultural buildings, places of worship, residential, commercial and retail. Many buildings are listed, including some heritage-at-risk sites. Therefore, experience or a keen interest in conservation and historical buildings would be advantageous.
This role requires taking responsibility for projects from start to finish, including preparing drawings and specifications, working collaboratively with a Partner or Project Architect. For some projects, you will be required to liaise directly with clients, consultants and contractors; on others, you will work collaboratively in an in-house team.
