Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant progressing toward ARB accreditation. You will work with the Project Lead to develop skills on hotel conversion projects and gain exposure to property development, construction and operation.

You will collaborate with acquisitions, construction, and hotel/resi teams to understand the wider context and drive design from concept through delivery, with a proactive, autonomous approach and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a architectural assistant.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in using relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, Procore, DocuSign).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

To provide an appropriate level of design, drafting, technical and administrative input at all stages on a range of architectural projects, big and small.
To undertake the required job administration on projects you are responsible for under the direction of the project lead.
Assist with the appointment of consultants.
Coordinate the design to ensure it is cost effective and buildable.
Liaise with design team as well as our in-house constructions and hotel/resi operations arms.
Follow Health and Safety and Quality Assurance procedures.
