Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Part 2 Qualified Architectural Assistant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking design practice based near Ely, in Littleport. This role offers the chance to work on a range of projects across various sectors, developing designs from concept through to completion. An ideal role for a Part 2 Architect ideally with some real-world experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility and further develop their expertise across all RIBA stages.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the development and refinement of architectural designs from concept to completion.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
• Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist in planning applications and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.
• Gain hands-on experience in project delivery, with the opportunity to take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Skills & Experience Required

• Master's degree in Architecture, having completed Part 2 of the Architectural Qualification.
• 1-2 years of professional experience working on projects post-Part 2, but could suit a recent Masters graduate with Part 1 experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a team and engage with clients.
• A creative and problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for design detail.
